A big thank-you to American Metal Supply for purchasing Minnie this year! You were ever so generous and I am very grateful for your continuous support!

12/2/24 - As we're preparing for fair, we've been practicing much more often, and I love the progress we're making with standing still! She would always keep trying to walk when I was getting ready to brace her, and she never could stand still in that position very long, but I think she's got the hang of it now. Fair is almost here!
11/15/24 - For the first time, when I was going out to feed in the morning, I see Minnie and Daisy standing all the way on top of the playground we built them. We knew they had been up there before, but this time I actually witnessed them!
11/2/2024 - Tag day! The trailer ride to the school was a bit rough, but once we got there, she calmed down. That is, until she got tagged.
10/15/24 - Today was the BEST. We went to Petco and got some of those Halloween costumes meant for really big dogs. Turns out, they fit average goats too! Enjoy this video of the dinosaurs running around. Happy Halloween!
9/13/24 - These goats get more and more spoiled by the week. Now, they have a swing in the big shed we built for them last week. It didn't take them long to get used to it, and Minnie absolutely loves it. When I go out there in the morning to feed, she's usually laying on it.
9/2/24 - This is probably our biggest build yet. As the goats are getting bigger, they can't really fit under the pallet playground together to get in the shade. So, we built a big shade for them. We will probably keep their feed out of the sun and rain in there too.
8/28/24 - Minnie loves head scratches! It's so funny to watch. Anytime you reach your hand near her head, she'll flip her head down to give you easier access to that sweet spot between her horns. We also gave the goats a slide to play on and added that to their mansion. You call the goats spoiled, I call them happy. But they are pretty spoiled.
8/17/24 - The goats are here! We named them Minnie and Daisy after the Mickey Mouse friends. They are already loving the peanut hay and we've gotten them to play on their climbing thing we built! We haven't done much halter work yet, so for right now, we're working on bonding and basic care.
8/10/24 - We haven't even gotten the goats yet but I'm already so excited! My goat is being kept at my friend's ranch instead of at school this year. We're both showing goats this year, so we went all out on making their home ready. We used pallets to make a structure for the goats to climb on. We plan on adding to it soon. They might have a whole mansion before they even get here!
